Community Massage Workshops
Learn Massage Therapy in a relaxed and joyful environment for yourself or to offer your community.
This 4-hour class will be held weekly on Saturday mornings and is open to everyone and all skill levels. Come as often as you like, join up at any time and learn the basics of Massage Therapy in a relaxed community setting. Each day we will cover different subjects and practice what we have learned with each other. Give, receive and enjoy a lovely morning of safe, therapeutic touch! Classes will be held at Cortijo El Trance in Carataunas. There is plenty of parking and light refreshments will be provided. What you will learn - • No experience necessary, these classes are open to everyone and every skill level. Classes are held in English, but all are welcome! • Begin at any time and come as often as you like. Each class will be a complete experience that can be applied immediately in your practice. • Our weekly skills offering will be published ongoing and drawn from over 20 different styles of massage, including Deep Tissue, Sports Therapy, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Craniosacral Therapy, Ashiatsu, Thai Massage, Acupressure, Myofascial Release, Lymph Drainage, Shiatsu, Reiki and many, many more! • Basic Anatomy and Physiology will be explored weekly to maintain safe bodily awareness and enhance effectiveness of techniques. • Communication skills in a collaborative, safe format with your fellow participants that encourages skilled perception of change and release. • Light snacks and refreshments provided. • All equipment and supplies are provided on-site. Your Instructor – Carmel Andrews LMT, BCTMB As a practitioner and educator for the last 27 years, I have transformed my passion and excitement for grounded, efficient and client-centered bodywork into a contemporary offering that helps working therapists expand their client reach while also vastly improving their client outcomes. I am so excited to create a weekly space where everyone can participate in a fun and rejuvenating learning experience. We all have an innate talent to heal with touch, its in our DNA. I want to share my knowledge in a supportive environment that uplifts any and all who are interested to enrich themselves and their community with the gift of touch. My background is diverse and encompasses clinical focus in pain management, international private practice and world-class spa leadership.
Cancellation Policy
For Massage Therapy Sessions - please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. All cancellations or a request to reschedule within the 24-hour period prior to your treatment time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the price of treatment booked. This will be charged to the card on file. You can mange your booking via the confirmation email sent to your inbox. For Class Bookings - The full class fee is due at time of reservation. The full class fee is 100% refundable up until 14 days prior to the published class start date. All cancellations within 14 days of the class start date will be non-refundable. For Coaching Sessions - please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. All cancellations or no-shows to the scheduled online session within 24 hours will be subject to the full monthly subscription fee of 40 euro or the one-time session fee of 45 euro and a new session will not be available to you until the following billing cycle. You can manage your booking via the confirmation email sent to your inbox. For Coaching Subscriptions - Once you have booked your first coaching session we will forward the details of your subscription service via email. Your subscription will renew monthly on the 2nd of each calendar month for 40 euro. If you cancel your subscription there will be no pro-rated refund. You will have access to your last bookable session until the following billing cycle. You may pause your subscription service for the duration of one billing cycle per year. The subscription will continue to be billed monthly until cancellation is confirmed by the client.
